Cast aluminium moulds - cast aluminium moulds are made by making a foundry shell over the top of a model of the product. an allowance for shrinkage of the cast alumium has to be made. the model can be made by traditional patternmaking or by using a rapid prototype model. finishes can include textures and high gloss finish. if there are multiple moulds required then the foundry patterns can be re-used as required.
